Ken Ham/Creationism Homeschooling Demonstration Moved to Saturday Only

The world’s most prominent advocate of Young Earth Creationism,Ken Ham of Answers In Genesis, is coming to Houston this August, and will be the keynote speaker at the annual THSC homeschooling convention August 2-3. While there, he’ll be presenting homeschooling families and children with his extreme fundamentalist views–that the universe is less than 7,000 years old, and that dinosaurs coexisted with humans–all under the false guise of “science”.

Houston Atheists will be there too, in a demonstration outside the convention, to promote the real science and to encourage convention attendees to find out what science really says–by researching for themselves the truth about the age of the universe and where we all came from, and by attending our event the following day, Answers In Science.

If you’re interested in being involved in the demonstration, we are having this meeting the night before the convention, where we will make our final preparations, finish preparing/distributing signs and flyers, and make sure everyone is up to speed on our plans. Although attendance at this meeting is not required to be part of the demonstration (anyone is free to join us any time on Friday or Saturday!), attendance is encouraged if you can make it!
